I’d like to talk about a Spanish painter and sculptor Picasso. He is best known for the Cubist movement, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and worked in. I highly appreciate his works like the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d’Avignon and Guernica, a portrayal of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War. I began to know him when I was in elementary school. At that time I liked paintings very much and I bought a collection of famous paintings. I saw Picasso’s painting Guernica and was greatly shocked by his talent and profundity. He’s different from other painters and his works are very surreal which leaves you space to imagine the theme of his work. From his painting I can view my life from a new perspective and that is why I appreciate him. He inspires me.
